Brad and I purchased our first home together in December of 2007 and we've absolutely been loving the process of making our house a home.
Our home is in the Atlanta suburbs and is conveniently located in my parents neighborhood!
Most of you are probably thinking...why so close to family? Well, the truth is that family is a big part of our life and we really do enjoy being able to pop over from time to time. My parents are great!
The house itself is a 2 story brick home with a great open floor plan that has a little more space than we really need at this stage in our lives...But before we know it I'm sure this will change.
The kitchen is great for entertaining and it has plenty of storage and surface space.
What I like best about our home is the little things that we've been able to do to make it ours.
From refinishing old furniture to, do- it- yourself projects...We've stayed definitely had our hands full.
Moving forward...we do have some plans for the future which we are excited about.
Our plans for the future include building a deck in the backyard, replacing the kitchen floors with tile, and adding some new lighting in the kitchen....
